Hi everybody

I am quite interested in this topic and i imagine that all who are writing in here or visiting this blog are also
quite worried about the situation we are currently living and about future consequences of our behaviour,
so it would be interesting for you if you have a look to this webpage i have found where Knowledge Society and
Information & Communication Technologies as tool to achieve knowledge are treated from the citizen´s point of view
in a meeting called ENCODE 2007 (2nd Knowledge Society and Citizenship Event) which is going to be held this year
in Malaga (Spain) from the 29th to the 30th of November.
I am sure it would be worthy to have a look and leave your opinion in http://www.encuentroencode.es
which will be for sure really valuable. The webpage has several forums activated where one can share opinions,
personal considerations related to the themes being debated at the meeting. Also, as I have read, live broadcast
and updates will also be transmitted from the website those days on which the event is being held since
citizens' opinion seems to be really important. Besides, there will be some papers from important speakers
from the social context, such as Rigoberta Menchu, Bob Geldof or Ignacio Ramonet.
In ENCODE 2007, citizens are the centre of the event itself, which emphasizes on the new challenges
proposed by the Knowledge Society, promoting a model of sustainable development worldwide.
It really looks quite interesting so don´t miss it!! It is a good oportunity for all of us
who are interested in in social problems, innovation, development and people´s wellbeing in general to participate
and give our opinion about these important topics, which are a matter of concern for all of us.
Please have a look on the site http://www.encuentroencode.es

I would also like to ask you if you could add a post or something about ENCODE 2007 in the blog, as I am really interested
in spreading the information about the event among the Internet, so that people get involved with the cause.
