Andalucía se convierte en la primera región del mundo en universalizar el acceso a Internet en Banda Ancha. Así lo ha anunciado hoy el consejero de Innovación, Ciencia y Empresa, Martín Soler, durante la presentación en el municipio de Huécija (Almería) del
proyecto Banda Ancha Móvil Andalucía, una iniciativa mediante la cual se ha dotado a toda la región de las infraestructuras necesarias que permiten el acceso a Internet desde cualquier municipio de Andalucía. Gracias al despliegue de esta red, se completa el mapa de cobertura de Internet en todos los núcleos principales de Andalucía, ofreciendo acceso a la red en niveles de calidad (al menos 1 Mb) en los 770 municipios andaluces, incluso en los menores de 20.000 habitantes.

Part 1: The State of Social Learning Today
The emergence of social media tools in the 2000s has changed the face of the Web; allowing individuals to create content in a variety of formats, make connections with people, share information and experiences and/or collaborate on different activities. It is now clear from the statistics, presented in Erik Qualman's video, Social Media Revolution in August 2009, that a huge number of people are using these tools in their daily lives, e.g.
- If Facebook were a country it would be the world’s 4th largest between the United States and Indonesia
- The #2 largest search engine in the world is YouTube
- Wikipedia has over 13 million articles…some studies show it’s more accurate than Encyclopedia Britannica
- There are over 200,000,000 Blogs
- 54% = Number of bloggers who post content or tweet daily... more
